Singapore Fruits and Vegetables Importers and Exporters Association (SFVA) was first established in 1948 by a group of fruits and vegetables importers in Singapore. At that time, the association then, had only seventeen members and the office was located in one of Singapore early wholesale markets at Carpenter Street. With the information of the pasir panjang wholesale Centre (located off West Coast highway) in 1983, many fruits, vegetables, preserved and dried foodstuff. Concurrently, in the same year SFVA's relocated its base to new centre in Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre.
